Bella Formosa Garten will be at the

Melbourne International Flower & Garden Show

C90 Gallery (upper level) Royal Exhibition Building

25th March – 29th March 2026

at the Royal Exhibition Building & Carlton Gardens

Bella Formosa Garten is proud to announce that we will be exhibiting at the Melbourne International Flower & Garden Show — the largest horticultural event in the Southern Hemisphere

With an audience of over 100,000 visitors, this prestigious event brings together leading designers, growers, floral artists, landscape architects, and plant enthusiasts from across Australia and beyond. It is a celebration of craftsmanship, creativity, and the enduring beauty of nature.

As an exhibitor, Bella Formosa Garten will showcase Ikebana flower arrangements that embody balance, structure, seasonality, and mindful simplicity. Rooted in centuries of Japanese tradition yet expressed with contemporary sensitivity, each arrangement reflects the quiet strength and disciplined elegance that define authentic Ikebana practice.

We are especially honoured to present the work of Ikebana Artist Gary Liu, current President of the Ikenobo Melbourne Chapter. Ikenobo is the oldest school of flower arranging in Japan, with a history spanning more than 500 years. Gary Liu’s leadership and artistry reflect this distinguished heritage while engaging thoughtfully with contemporary expression.

In addition to our Ikebana installations, we will be offering a curated selection of Japanese Ikebana tools and Japanese ceramics, carefully chosen to support both traditional practice and modern interpretation. Each piece reflects our commitment to quality, authenticity, and timeless design.

This exhibition marks an important milestone for Bella Formosa Garten as we continue to share the philosophy and artistry of Ikebana with a wider audience.
