At Bella Formosa Garten, we bring the beauty of lush, healthy plants into your home or workplace—without the hassle of long-term ownership. We create bespoke botanical compositions that harmonise with your interior architecture, colour palette and lighting.

Our work goes beyond "decorating with plants" - we design living sculptures often using Ikebana principles to elevate homes, offices and hospitality spaces into works of art

We offer a complete service that includes:

Consultation & Interior Plant Styling

We start by visiting your space to assess lighting, layout, and style preferences. Based on your needs, we create a tailored proposal with recommended plants, pots, and display solutions that enhance your environment—whether it’s a sleek modern office, a welcoming reception, or a tranquil waiting room.

Plant Leasing

Enjoy premium indoor plants on flexible rental terms. Our leasing options allow you to refresh your greenery seasonally or as your needs evolve, keeping your space vibrant and inviting year-round.

Ongoing Maintenance

We offer a full plant care service, including watering, pruning, feeding, and replacing plants as needed. Our maintenance visits are usually every four weeks (adjusted seasonally) to ensure your plants always look fresh and healthy.

Plant Leasing & Maintenance Process

1. Initial Consultation
We will visit your location, discuss your vision and requirements, provide advice and address your concerns.

2. Customised Proposal / Quote

We will provide a written proposal and quote based on the initial consultation which will include size, quantity, style of plants, type of pots/planters as well as the placement within your space; also outlining details of the lease, like maintenance frequency and payment terms.

3. Service Agreement
If you are happy with the proposal and the quote you sign the quote and transfer initial payment..

4. Setup & Installation
We source and deliver your plants and decorative pots, and complete the full installation so your space is ready to enjoy.

Fees & Payment

Initial Payment: Setup fee + first 3 months’ rental, paid in advance.

Setup Fee: $250 (covers consultation, proposal, sourcing, and installation).

Ongoing Billing: Monthly rental is billed in advance, commencing from month 4.

Contract & Termination

Contracts may be ended with 30 days’ written notice, reflecting industry standard and allowing a smooth transition.

At the end of the contract, you may either purchase the plants and pots and keep them or request us to collect them free of charge.

Ikebana Arrangements & Floral Installations

Rooted in the Japanese art of floral design, each composition is thoughtfully created to reflect the essence of the season, the character of the space, and the unique sensibilities of our clients.

We offer custom floral installations for:

One-Time Commissions

Perfect for special occasions or unique statement pieces.

Browse our Gallery or check out Instagram and choose an arrangement style you like.
Please note that every Ikebana is unique and will never look exactly the same.
Designs depend on seasonal availability of plants, flowers, and materials.
Smaller arrangements are delivered fully assembled.
Larger arrangements are assembled on site as they are too delicate to transport.
Assembly time varies depending on the materials and techniques used — some pieces take 30 minutes, others can take hours.
The vessel (vase and kenzan) is not included.

Pricing

The price can be highly variable and depends on many factors.
Arrangements start from $249 (GST included).
Large or more complex installations (e.g. for weddings) can be several hundred dollars.
Hourly assembly rate: $ 80
Price includes delivery, setup at your location(first hour included) and pick up of the Ikebana vessel and equipment.
The vessel (vase or plate) and kenzan are provided on loan for the display and must be returned afterwards.
As the vessel is often a handcrafted Japanese ceramic, we kindly request an additional $200 deposit for the vessel and the kenzan.
This will be fully refunded once they are returned in good condition.
We will provide an individual quote.

Regular Ikebana Arrangements

A wonderful way to bring the changing seasons into your space.

Starting from $149 per arrangement.
Vessel (vase or plate) and kenzan not included — these are exchanged periodically for variety.
Available weekly, fortnightly, or monthly.
Pricing depends on location and frequency.
We will provide an individual quote.

Delivery & Service Area
We deliver within Melbourne and can provide maintenance options to keep arrangements looking fresh

Ikebana Workshops for Beginners (coming soon)

Immerse yourself in the refined and contemplative world of Ikebana, the Japanese art of flower arranging.

Our workshops offer a unique opportunity to slow down, reconnect with nature, and explore the harmony between form, space, and silence.

Led by a passionate practitioner, each session blends hands-on practice with insights into the philosophy, history, and cultural roots of Ikebana. You will learn to create meaningful arrangements using seasonal materials, natural elements, and mindful technique.

Our workshops will be offered in:

Small group sessions – Intimate, focused learning environments.

Private bookings – Tailored experiences for individuals, friends, or corporate groups.

All materials will be provided, and no prior experience is necessary.
