Shimo Kage Koku 霜影刻

A dark winter landscape marked by frost and time.

The deep charcoal-brown body creates a shadowed, earthen presence, contrasted by pale green-grey textures that resemble frost spreading across weathered rock. Its irregular scalloped rim and rugged surface give the vase an almost naturally eroded appearance, as though shaped by wind, cold, and passing seasons. Strong yet understated, it pairs beautifully with bare branches, pine, dried grasses, or minimalist Ikebana.
